Video: 12 Hours of Sebring
While I’m not great at doing video yet, it’s fun to try. Especially when the subject is one of your favorites – the 2015 12 Hours of Sebring car race in Sebring, Florida.
I was at Sebring to shoot still photographs for Automobilsport.com, and took advantage of the proximity to the track to try capturing the motion too.
The nice thing is that you learn from every project, So, theoretically, the more you do, the better you should get.
So I know what to do; I just have to do what I know…
Here’s the specs: I shot the video on my Canon 60D (I have a 70D now that I’m itching to try) and used both a Canon 70-200 and a Tamron 150-600 lens. (See my review of the Tamron lens in a separate post.)
I edited on Final Cut Pro X on my Mac laptop.
The music was an original royalty-free piece bought from a music website such as SongFreedom.com, PremiumBeat.com, MarmosetMusic.com, or AudioJungle.com.
